Newly hired Topaz service personnel undergo an approximate year long course of study and on-the-job training, before being certified as qualified to perform covered tasks defined under the DOT Office of Pipeline Safety, Operator Qualification regulation. All technicians are recertified at intervals prescribed by DOT regulated owner / operators.
Topaz technicians carry with them on the job, documentation of all required generic and site specific safety training. Technicians are certified as having the proven expertise to perform in a safe and efficient manner. In order to maintain consistent high quality, Topaz has established standardized procedures for all services provided.
While most work we are called upon to do is scheduled in advance, emergency service is inevitable and is executed with the same attention to detail, regardless of the hour, location, or weather conditions. Meticulous planning, preparation and performance enable Topaz to handle emergency job requirements in the safest and most expedient manner possible.
