In addition to field services Topaz offers U.S. made specialty piping products by major manufacturers. These include hot tapping and line plugging fittings (both welding and mechanical), mechanical couplings, flanges, and leak repair sleeves, full encirclement saddles, pipeline insulators, casing end seals, polly pigs, gas main bags, and pressure test plugs. In addition to standard off-the-shelf items, we can fabricate custom tapping and plugging fittings and tees, thermowell fittings, and injection nozzle assemblies.
For damaged pressure piping, or failed gaskets, o-rings, etc., Topaz can provide emergency bolt-on leak repair fittings for high or low pressure service.
For construction of new, or the revamp of existing piping systems in areas where welding is not feasible, we also offer mechanical flanges and couplings.
To hot tap in-service piping, a branch fitting of some variety must be attached to the header pipe, a valve is installed on the branch fitting, and the hot tap is performed through this assembly.
Topaz offers weld-on and mechanical line plugging, or line stop fittings in common sizes and flange ratings for use in both low and high-pressure line plugging applications.
When the strength of pressure pipe is compromised by modification, physical damage, or defect, Topaz provides weld-on reinforcement solutions.
Topaz offers many types of pipeline pigs to satisfy diverse cleaning, dehydrating, batching,and gauging functions.
When misalignment, vibration, or thermal expansion produces problem forces in a piping system, Topaz can provide the expansion joint solution.
For casing spacer / insulator and end seal needs, Topaz offers a variety of materials, styles, and carrier-casing size differentials.
Standard high pressure test plugs are factory tested up to 3,000 PSIG depending on size. Special sizes and higher pressures can be supplied per customer requirements.
Type "C" Bags consist of a high quality natural rubber bladder encased in a 100% polyester fabric cover, and are used when an uncovered plain rubber bag would not hold.
